What is the new and innovative LearnGive Network?

November 18, 2019

Each year, Learning by Giving exposes over 700 new students nationwide to experiential philanthropy, and provides them with the opportunity to collectively give away grant money to local nonprofits doing extraordinary and humble work in their community. For many of these students, the experience in giving real money to nonprofit organizations tackling real social issues quickly becomes a highlight of their college career. So it’s not a surprise when students and alumni write back to us and ask, “I loved this class, I loved this experience, how do I stay connected with this amazing work?”

After months in the making, we are happy to announce the launch of our new and innovative LearnGive platform and app. By joining the LearnGive Network, students, alumni, emerging leaders, and young professionals will have the opportunity to learn about effective philanthropy and charitable giving, and be able to collectively give away money to local nonprofits. Members of the LearnGive Network will have access to exclusive digital content on the LearnGive app including educational tools, curated articles, and interviews with prominent philanthropists like siblings Doris and Warren Buffett, actor Patrick Dempsey, journalist Soledad O’Brien and many more to come!

And what’s great is that with each membership fee, the money goes right back into the hands of our college students who will then identify and vet impactful nonprofits nationwide to grant real money to. So if you’re a current student and alumni of our program, or just someone who didn’t get the chance to take our class in college, consider joining the LearnGive Network by downloading the app today (below), and help us change philanthropy and connect humanity together!
