Natanja Craig

Natanja Craig is the Vice President for Community Partnerships at The Possible Project.

Natanja was previously the Director of Grassroots Programs at the Boston Foundation, one of the oldest and largest community foundations in the nation, where she utilized her grit, passion and personal life experience to help define and shape the Grassroots Strategy–a unique strategy she built from the ground up. Grants from this special fund support a wide range of efforts that bring people together, deliver “return on community” through engagement, and encourage social responsibility.  Natanja’s strategy goes far beyond traditional philanthropy. It’s about being embedded in neighborhoods, seeking out unlikely leaders and unsung heroes making positive change in their communities. Like Natanja, they are the experts and social entrepreneurs who know first-hand the realities and struggles of their community, and are part of the solution. Beyond pure grant support, Natanja provides strategic and fundraising guidance, develops leaders’ skills and networks, and connects leaders across geography and sectors. At the core of Natanja’s work is the concept “do nothing about me without me.” To date, the Grassroots Fund has made more than $4.0 million in grants, ranging from $200 to $10,000 with each averaging $3,500.

Natanja previously held positions with Fidelity Investments, The Partnership, Inc., and the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts.

Natanja currently serves on the advisory board of My Life My Choice and the Jeremiah Program.
