Kristine Ma
Kristine Ma is the Co-chair of LxG’s Emerging Leaders Council. She is currently a Bioengineering PhD graduate student at Northeastern University. She was a 2015 Teach For America corps member in Connecticut, teaching high school chemistry and physics. Kristine is extremely passionate about STEM and equity in education, women empowerment, and international development. She volunteers as a coach and mentor for students and regularly travels to Uganda to volunteer for the Seohyun Foundation and Africa Future Foundation. 

Born and raised in Naples, Florida, Kristine graduated from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and earned a Master’s of Science in Biotechnology from Brown University. In her free time she likes playing soccer, board games, and enjoys reading.
